Blake Samson Joins Saracen!

 

Saracen are delighted to announce the addition of UK-based Blake Samson to the Saracen Dirt team!

Blake is a well-known face on both the UK and international scenes, being consistently ranked within the top 50 riders in the world on the Freeride Mountain Bike World Tour for the last two years.

From his own impressive solo video showcases, to the light-hearted Bike Riders United How-To web edits, Blake is a massive character with an even bigger bag of jaw-dropping skills and we are stoked to have Blake riding on Saracen for the 2012 season.

“This might be a surprise to some, but I have moved over to Saracen bikes for 2012. I am so excited to be riding for a British bike brand and looking forward to be working with all the guys at Saracen. I’ve been riding the new Amplitude ALX and CR3 models and I am loving them so much.

I’m looking forward to iceBike* in a few weeks and then it’s off to California for a 3 weeks to kick off my new 2012 season. I will also be riding on the Animal Bike Tour this year and as well as a number of FMB world tour events. It’s going to be a big exiting year for myself and Saracen bikes!” Blake Samson

Blake will be competing in domestic and international competitions aboard both our CR3 and ALX frames, as well as helping out with the development of our 2013 models. Blake joins long-time Saracen rider Lance McDermott on the Saracen Dirt Team, making for a formidable team roster that we hope to see atop plenty of podiums in the coming year!

California Overview

So I am nearly at the end of my trip to the United States Of America and it has been one AMAZING trip. I came over to California to ride at WoodWard West to brush up on my riding ready for the 2012 season and its been pretty successful. 10 days of riding bikes, Chilling at the beach, enjoying life! Ive got some new tricks that i have been working on and I’m looking forward to putting some super good runs together in the up and coming events.

 Take a look at some of these photos & videos from my trip and i will be posting more from the trip when I’m back home including a Bike Check.

Nothing better than shooting a real gun for the first time but them things are so dangerous. I think everyone needs to shoot a gun once in a shooting range to really see how dangerous a gun is.

I really enjoyed riding this big step-up at woodward west but i only got one day on it due to big winds. Also i hope Greg Watts gets better soon after his big crash on this witch ended him in hospital. Get well soon bro.

Boarding In France

So I’m in Tignes in France for a week and been doing a little Snow Boarding and its been awesome. The snow is so thick and fluffy its great for doing tricks on and having fun. Yesterday we was boarding and as we was coming down the mountain came across this amazing party. Music was pumping and everyone was having a good time so decided to get involved and have a dance haha.

Best item I have with me has to be my amazing Gloryfy Goggles! They are so good, Never steam up and great visibility. All I can say is I’m Gloryfyed :)

wordpress on my phone

I got this wordpress app for my phone and it is awesome as……….. :) now I can Blog on the move! How cool is that. I just wanted to update you all that I will be heading to California for 2 weeks on the 6th of Jan so should be a cool trip with lots of riding and sunshine. I will be posting blogs on my trip so you can get an idea of what I have been getting up to.

Anyway that’s it for now, I have tested my new app here’s a old school pic for you all.

Lucius Kills It On His Saracen!

I took Lucius to the BMX track this week and boy hey is good! My lad is only 2 and is killing it, he has a custom Saracen scoot bike thanks to Madison who did all the work.

Rampworx Fun

Ok so i got to have some fun over at Rampworx Skatepark this month it was awesome. I got the park to myself to get some catalogue images for Saracen Bikes take a look at some of them bellow.

Im looking forward to seeing these images in the 2012 catalogue and more importantly I’m looking forward to a strong 2012 from myself after this year that was a good come back year I’m ready to send it :-) . Saracen have been working hard and the new 2012 range is mega. I run the new 2012 Saracen Amplitude CR3 and it rides great also working with other sponsors like Adidas has to be one of the biggest privileges as they always supply me with what i need and they are so relaxed and i have there full support for what i see as the best year yet. 2012!

Amplitude CR3 Bike Test

Hey guys I just got my Saracen Amplitude CR3 home. After my crash at District Ride my broken toe finally feels a little better so I went over to my local skatepark, Rampworx where I got to test out my new 2012 frame. I have to say this frame from Saracen has to be the best frame I have ever rode, with a shorter chain stay and lighter materials this new Amplitude CR3 is defiantly a 2012 competitor in the MTB Dirt Jump, Street & Park world.
